Local brewery Bragdy Nant needed a new identity for their rapidly expanding range of Welsh ales brewed just outside Llanrwst.
R was able to help by going back to the core ingredients—hops, barley and water. All are represented in the logo, as is a nant (English--stream/valley), and a faint echo of Llanrwst's four-hundred year old three-arched Pont Fawr (Big Bridge) can be seen in the hops and curve above. Despite all these references there is no getting away from the core lettering: Nant. This is how the brewery is known, and it's where the beer comes from.
